Our holiday started with the colonial days. We walked around the booths, had delicious chicken bowls and Owen went on his first carnival ride- the boat. Wasn't too sure about it. The 4th was filled with activities. A few family members started the day with the FREEDOM RUN 10k and 5k. We then had a light brunch at my house (which was a bonus being across the street from the finish line). We went swimming and Owen took a plunge off the diving board (don't mind the pink floaties). Brave little guy. I took a nap and then we started our trek to the stadium of fire. It was burning with desire. Im glad to be an AMERICAN!

How fun! We saw cute Owen last night while we were lighting fireworks... he and Zander came over to watch too. Too bad my little sensitive guy was the only one to hate them! ;)
I love that you do so many races, I would love to do more, I wish I didn't work saturday's!!
You are awesome to compete in so many races! I am slowly getting into running. I will compete in my first 10k ever this weekend. I am already nervous...wish me luck.

Hey Lindsey! Thanks for saying "hello" on our blog! I kinda feel like I know you a tid bit already from Haley, Nicky Hansen, and Jen, so it was nice to kinda but not really meet you! haha. We saw you guys at the 10k on the 4th, but were unsure about saying hello for fear of coming off as a but stalker-ish, but Haley knows us so we just should have, DARN IT. Well, I enjoy your blog and might I pass the same compliment on to you, you are also a very cute family yourselves. Solee has played with Owen once (park play date) and he is a babe, she wanted me to tell you that. Anywho, I am going to end this Novel and see you when I see you! Thanks for saying hello!

So I thought of you when I ran the dinky 5K in Manti on the 4th. I've been biking a lot, running not at all and it was a sad show how sore I was the next day. You and Mer amaze me. Really you do.
