So how gorgeous is she? Meet my mother in law LuAnn.

She just turned the big 50. She is a great mother to her kids, an awesome wife to hubby Bart, throws some kick butt parties and enjoys taking long hot bubble baths.

She is always thinking of others, always willing to babysit, always stopping by with little treats or gifts and basically is the best mother in law in the world. Are you jealous yet?
Wait, it gets better.
She is a hottie (pass-er-by's will even say so), has a rockin bod (without even exercising), and makes a killer salsa!

Hey Friends. Im finally off on my first summer vaca. McCall Idaho is the place. Mackay family reunion is the event! We get to stay in these cute little cabins right on Payette Lake. Super fun times!

The Bug

So my family has this bug...its called "the fishing bug". It must have ran out of bug juice by the time it got to me because ive never understood the joy of being a boat for 8 billion hours rocking back and forth (i get sea sick) waiting for a bubble to dip under water. I would rather let the wind/water blow through my hair on the wakeboard.

Well, they talked me into joining them last week to strawberry reservoir and fish WE DID....and i actually really enjoyed it! We were there for a good 6 hours and we all caught lots of great big fish...

But just not big enough to keep and eat. Darn it. Besides that fact, it was good company, good sandwiches, good weather and a fabulous time!

I may just have to join them again!

Today in primary we talked about being "fishers of men". I started to feel the sweet spirit of our cute little 4-5 year olds...and then one of them asked " hey, wanna feel how tough my tummy feels when i get freaked out?"

Ode to the 4th

So i am like a kid on Christmas Morning when it comes to the 4th of July. I look forward to it every year and can't wait for all the activities. This year was extra special because Tyson did his first 5k! It makes everything nice to live at the starting point of the race.

Our day started with the 10k and 5k freedom run. Here is the fam after the race.

So proud of this guy! When's the next race Tys? Tyson woke up at 4 in the AM to stake out a spot on the parade route. He got there just in time (after getting cut off in traffic twice) to get a nice place on center St. Owen was amazed.
Reg didn't mind all the cheerleaders either.

After a few BBQ's and a little rest, we were ready for the stadium of fire. We took both the kiddos and it turned out way better than i thought. Owen was pumped to see Milee...as was Tysons little sis Courtney. It was good times!
The day after the 4th, we took a 4 hour nap and then attended the "culdasac of fire" at my sisters house. I love the warner bunch...and if you put together them with a little firework and "born in the USA" together, its sure to be a good time.
