Its a good sign if i don't update this things often... it means i am busy chasing around my boys and keeping up with summer. I don't want to miss a thing. I LOVE summer. Nothing too exciting that you have been missing, just the usual summer stuff...sellin popsicles. Sales were pretty slow and our popsicles melted...so we ate them instead.
Owen is now swimming thanks to swim lessons and awesome grub (his teacher)

What is a summer without the hogle zoo. Does anyone else think its pretty small and kind of boring? The animals were all snuggled up the shade sleeping when we went. pretty anti-climatic. Next time we will just go to the bean museum for free. :)

Super heros in action

A few weeks ago, we had cousin Xander sleep over at our house (in a tent in the family room of course). Before bed, a little "fightin the bad guys" was in order...

Let freedom ring

Happy 4th. Its my favorite holiday.
And despite having a sick husband and baby, i still was able to enjoy ALL the festivities.
I ran the 10k. 11th woman overall. woohoo.
We battled the crowds at freedom days.
I got up at 4:30am, then 6am to save a spot for the parade and had NO luck.
people are crazy!
But...we somehow got front row at the parade 30 minutes after it started.
A little BBQ and swimming at aunt Denise's is tradition..then another at Mackays!
Then off to the Stadium of Fire.
Jonas Brothers brought out the best of Owens dance skills. It was awesome.
So happy to be an American in Utah!
